I have grouped the rides into 4 main areas – based on the location of the lunch stop rather than the start of the route. Lunch is typically the place that is likely to be furthest from the start – so is a good indicator of the direction.

Wales. If we head in this direction, you will know about it. We have had some excellent one-day rides in N Wales, and typically they start with a dash along the M62/M56 to start at Jn14, M56, Chester Services. This makes it a brilliant ride for those in easy reach of the M62 – but probably out of reach for members living in the NE.
Typically, I would stay Saturday Night in a Premier Inn or equivalent, as the services are at least 2 hours away for me, and probably 3+ hours for people in Tyneside.
