Send an email to the club broadcaster a couple of weeks before the ride so that it can be posted in Facebook, emailed to members and added to the website. A brief outline is all that is required at this stage. If you are not certain of the time, starting point, cafes – then don’t provide that information until until after the recce when things have been finally decided. Apparently the intial announcement on FB cannot be edited !
You can also drum up interest on the Club ‘WhatsApp’ group. But be aware that not everyone uses WhatsApp.
